“I got tired of living in the fast lane.”

fast lane?

“Why don’t you just drive in the right lane?”

“What?”

“You know, if the fast lane is stressful, just stay in the slow lane.”

“No, no. He’s not talking about driving.”

“Living in the fast lane means living a very busy, competitive lifestyle.”
“Living in the fast lane 是指生活节奏特别快、竞争特别激烈。”

“Do you like living in the fast lane?”

“Only when I’m passing someone.”

live in the fast lane

你们如果听到“I’m tired of the fast lane”,第一反应会想到工作压力,还是也会跟我一样先想到高速公路?
