“My new job is definitely not a bed of roses.”

“Wait, you had a bed with roses at your old job?”

“No, no. A bed of roses means an easy, comfortable situation.”

“Oh! So you mean the job isn’t easy.”

“Exactly. Life here isn’t always a bed of roses.”

“Especially when you have three kids.”

Dad!”

Life is not a bed of roses.”
