加拿大办公室午餐时,同事说“别把脏床单拿出来晒”,我差点问他公寓有没有阳台

中午在加拿大公司茶水间吃饭,同事 Mark 正在吐槽他姐姐和姐夫吵架。
他说:
“My sister posted the whole fight on Facebook. I told her not to air her dirty linen in public.”
“我姐把他们吵架的事全发 Facebook 了。我跟她说,别把 dirty linen 拿出来公开晒。”
我听到 air her dirty linen,脑子里直接出现了一幅画面:
